About me
The path to creative psychotherapy and counselling emerged from my own search for healing from grief, loss and trauma. I was also seeking freedom from imposed, limiting belief systems that had left me feeling 'less than' and disconnected from life itself. Along the way, I was fortunate enough to discover a sense of ease and a safe space that I could grow within during my fine arts studies. Beyond the well-being aspect of the art-making process, through creative expression I caught glimpses of the true self in my work, and so the seed for healing was planted.
With a background in disability and aged-care support work I then progressed into community services studies and professional training in holistic counselling and psychotherapy. Holistic therapy is a whole person approach with foundations in presence and embraces the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual experiences of being human.
